WHAT WE MODIFY
Everyday Shoes That Just Work
Casual shoes are what most people wear most days — and modifications need to feel as easy as the shoe itself. We modify slip-ons, lace-ups, deck shoes, and lifestyle sneakers without adding stiffness or weight.
👟
Slip-Ons & Lace-Ups
Vans, Converse, lifestyle sneakers, casual lace-ups. The vulcanized rubber sole accepts our lifts naturally with iconic looks preserved.
⛵
Boat & Deck Shoes
Sperry Top-Sider, Sebago, deck shoes. Marine-grade modifications that handle salt water and dock environments.
🌿
Espadrilles & Toms
Toms, espadrilles, summer casuals, Skechers, Clarks. Lightweight materials that stay comfortable all day.
How It Works
Mail us your shoes — we modify them — we ship them back. Most orders complete in 5–7 business days.

1. Split the Sole
We carefully split your sole through any material — rubber, leather, plastic, or composite.

2. Insert the Lift
A precision lift is bonded into your sole at the exact height — contoured to match your shoe profile.

3. Ship It Back
Quality-checked and shipped via USPS the same day work is complete.
WHY CNET ORTHOPEDIC
Casual Comfort, Lifted
Casual shoes work because they’re easy. Our modifications keep them that way — no stiffness, no fight, just a level stance.
🪶
Lightweight Build
We use lighter-density lift materials on casual shoes — no extra weight, no fatigue, no awareness once on.
🌬️
Flexibility Preserved
Slip-on construction stays slip-on. Canvas stays soft. The shoe doesn’t fight you when modified.
🎨
Color-Matched
Lift finishing matches your sole color so the modification disappears into the shoe’s design.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Casual Shoe Lift Questions
Click any question to expand the answer.
Can you modify Vans or Converse?
Yes. Both are common modifications. The vulcanized rubber sole accepts our lifts well, and we color-match the finishing to maintain the iconic look.
Will my slip-on still slip on?
Yes. We don’t alter the upper or the heel collar — slip-on functionality is untouched.
Are casual shoe lifts heavier than the original shoe?
Barely. We use lightweight lift materials on casual shoes — most clients can’t feel the weight difference once the shoe is on.
Can you work on canvas shoes?
Yes. Canvas shoes (Vans, Converse, Toms) are routine work for us. The bond is between the rubber sole and the upper — the canvas isn’t affected.
Will boat shoes still hold up to salt water?
Yes. We use marine-grade adhesives on boat and deck shoes — your modified pair handles salt water, dock conditions, and humidity without separation.
Do you modify Toms or espadrilles?
Yes. Both are modified routinely. Toms canvas uppers stay intact and espadrille jute soles can be modified without unraveling the rope construction.
