WHAT WE MODIFY

Safety Boots Modified for the Job

We’ve modified boots for construction, electrical, oilfield, healthcare, and warehouse workers — never compromising safety ratings or job-site requirements.

🔩

Steel & Composite Toe

Steel, composite, alloy safety toe boots. We modify around protective elements without altering them — your toe-cap rating stays intact.

Electrical Hazard (EH)

EH-rated boots maintain their certification through modification. Insulation and dielectric properties stay fully intact.

🏗

Trade-Specific Boots

Construction, oilfield, warehouse, healthcare. Brand specialists in Red Wing, Carhartt, Timberland Pro, Wolverine, Keen Utility.

How It Works

Mail us your shoes — we modify them — we ship them back. Most orders complete in 5–7 business days.

Step 1 — splitting the shoe sole

1. Split the Sole

We carefully split your sole through any material — rubber, leather, plastic, or composite.

Step 2 — inserting the lift

2. Insert the Lift

A precision lift is bonded into your sole at the exact height — contoured to match your shoe profile.

Step 3 — finished shoe lift

3. Ship It Back

Quality-checked and shipped via USPS the same day work is complete.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Work Boot Lift Questions

Click any question to expand the answer.

Will modifying my work boots void any safety ratings?

No. We modify around protective elements — steel toe, composite plate, EH insulation — without altering them. Your boot retains its original certifications.

Will the lift hold up on a job site?

Yes. We use industrial-grade adhesive rated for daily heavy wear. Most work boot modifications outlast the boot itself.

Can you modify slip-resistant outsoles?

Yes. We add the lift between the original outsole and the boot upper, preserving the slip-resistant tread completely.

What about Red Wing or Goodyear-welted construction?

Routine for us. Welt construction is preserved entirely; the lift adds to the bottom without disturbing the welt or stitching.

Will OSHA accept the modified boot?

Yes. Modifications don’t alter the boot’s compliance with ASTM F2412/F2413 standards. The certifications stay valid.

Are there any work boots you can’t modify?

Very few. Some highly specialized rubber boots (firefighting, hazmat) may not be candidates — send a photo first and we’ll advise.

Need to verify a specific safety rating?

Send us your boot model and rating requirements — we’ll confirm before you ship.
